The Carolina Panthers traded up to select former University of Michigan Wide Receiver, Devin Funchess. The Panthers selected Funchess as the ninth pick in the second round on Friday, May 8.  The Panthers traded their third- and sixth-round picks to the Rams to take the spot.

“I couldn’t be prouder,” Ms. Maher, said. “I’ve known him since he was four years old. I’ve watch him grow since he was a little kid. He followed his passion from finish to start. He always wanted to do something with sports. I knew he would always be something big, cause that’s just how he is. One thing that is neat about Devin is through this process he stayed very humble.”
